The official name is "Inter-Club Colour Slide Group (West Riding)" and comprises 12 clubs and societies mostly from the West (Riding) Yorkshire region.
The Inter-Club was formed in 1958 and the Bradford Photographic Society were one of its founding members.
After a long absence from 1961, Bradford Photographic Society rejoined the Inter-Club Competitions in 1988 and still continue to remain an active member.

The Bradford Photographic Society were also winners in both the 1989/1990 and 1991/1992 competition seasons.
Subjects and Themes
Set Subject categories are chosen by the individual host club.
Set Themes are selected by the Inter Club organisers by rotation from the following list:
Sport/Action, Portrait, Still Life, Photo-Journalism, Record, Natural History and Candid.
Digital Image Specification
The Inter-Club requires that to ensure 'like for like' projection on the night, images should be resized as follows:-
File Format - JPEG (Medium quality level 6 OK for digital projection).
Image Sizes:
- Landscape format 1024px wide x 768px high maximum at 72dpi resolution.
- Portrait format 768px high maximum with a width of whatever it works out at.
File Names - Image files must be named as follows:-
Prefix No-title-author's initials
Eg. 04-cloudy night in leeds-TC
