Bolling Hall

17th. Century house best known for its north country
furniture, huge windows depicting stained glass coats of
arms and a medieval pele tower. Surrounded by gardens.
Beware: Bolling Hall claims to have a ghost!

Bradford Cathedral
The former Parish Church of St. Peter dating back to the
14th century and is now Bradford Cathedral.
It has a splendid bright interior with several notable
stained glass windows.
The tower survived the Seige of Bradford in 1642-43during
the Civil War and offers fine views over the City.
Salts Mill and 1853 Gallery

The re-vitalised Salts Mill complex once the heart
of this model village. Visit the 1853 Gallery housing
Europe's largest collection of David Hockney's work.
Includes trendy retail outlets & Salts Diner.
Saltaire village offers many photo opportunities and
designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
 
Cartwright Hall
The Baroque style Art Gallery dating from 1904 set
in the midst of Lister Park. Contains mainly 19th to
20th century British art plus travelling exhibitions.
Also used for choral and classical music concerts.
The surrounding park has recently been remodelled.

Undercliffe Cemetery

A superbly restored large Victorian cemetery where
Bradford's rich and famous rest in their monumental
edifices. Much photographed and its spectacular
setting has been used for television and movies.
Overlooks the City with fine panoramic views.

Haworth and Bronte Country
The hilly village made famous by the Brontë family.
Visit the Parish Church, Brontë Museum and cobbled
Main Street. In the lower part of the village is the Railway
Station with steam trains operated by the Keighley &
Worth Valley Railway. Haworth is a photographers delight.
